The Strengthlete Story

“I did it wrong my entire life. I dieted, deprived, and restricted. I was the one always left holding the bag. I operated under hundreds of false misconceptions. I complicated the very simple process over and over again. I had a very complex relationship with food that started from when I was child and this relationship with food was single handily prohibiting me from losing weight in any type of a meaningful way. The solution wasn’t another diet, the solution was that I needed to change my behavior and attitude and that’s what I am here to teach you.

I lost 40 pounds in 9 months eating pizza, hamburgers, french fries, chips, doughnuts, and cookies. Oh yea, and I still drank Jameson too! No diets, no bad romance dramas. Just real weight loss and all the cliché stuff people talk about with it changing their lives. I became more confident, enjoyed my life again after 5 years of depression, went out on more dates, had more sex, and made better and more meaningful relationships. I haven’t looked back since! This is why I started Strengthlete and this is what I want for you too!

Our Mission

I came back from Colorado and decided to call my friend and nutrition expert, Jason Ackerman.
We want to give people the freedom and strength to live in a world where they are not controlled by food. We want to empower our community to achieve peace of mind with eating ensuring that dieting ends here and now, for life. It is our mission at Strengthlete to end yo-yo dieting and to put a stop to the cycle of restriction and abundance. We want to end work-week syndrome and to end the compulsion of calorie counting and the scale. We recognize one point over our competitors – we are here to guide and coach people – not robots and we lead by example, guide with compassion, teach with clarity and listen without judgement in an honest environment that holds the needs of our clients at the very center.

Vision & Community

Our culture is built upon cultivating an environment for learning, growth, and comfort with food.  We envision a world in which dieting no longer exists, where our clients are no longer confused, scared or frustrated by food but are able to enjoy the experience of eating without anxiety.  We want our clients to experience the social and nutritional power of food and to experience the power of true self-confidence and a healthy body image.

Our Core Values

Our 5 core values are the base of everything we do and empower us to fulfill and execute upon our mission and vision.

1) Service as an Attitude

We believe that service is an attitude and this is at the heart of Strengthlete. The attitude of service is the DNA make up of our company and is threaded throughout the relationships we have with our clients, partners and each other to build a culture focused completely on the needs of our clients.

We are dedicated to:

  • Being completely present in conversations with each other, our stakeholders and our clients.
  • Listening first and responding second.
  • Creating a unified and well communicated agenda between client and coach that is precisely dedicated to the goals and desires of the client.
  • Speaking in a language that does not serve our ego, but that cultivates an environment of comprehension, comfort, safety, and openness to change.
  • Favoring simplicity over the complicated.

2) Innovation & Originality

We are dedicated to working on new ideas that will help our clients, supporting our ideas with new innovation that improves the quality of life of our employees, officers, and clients. Our originality and innovation should always be on constant display for constructive criticism and improvement. A good idea was never cultivated behind closed doors.

3) Honesty

In the face of discomfort, we are always honest with each other and our clients. We believe that growth, quality, and innovation come from the honest reflection of our products and services.

4) Growth

We constantly push the status-quo and never settle for mediocrity. We choose to think differently. We always explore new angles and possibilities and recognize that our greatest competition is ourselves. We value new environments, new people and constant learning to expand our awareness.

5) Courage

We choose to be strong for our clients and each other. We never allow fear to stop us doing what we believe is the right thing to do, and we never allow controversy to stop us standing up for what we believe in.
